Disintegration in Houdini


Description

Hello everyone, This is a redo of my old disintegration tutorial.

The tutorial covers a variety of techniques to disintegrate an object. We start with a simple Mask from Geometry. Modify the mask with a noise and then use the final mask to dissolve geometry and emit particles.

We will also look at how to generate custom volume velocities to control the movement of the particles. We will then generate trails from the emitted particles.

Finally we also add a variety of attributes to help with final rendering including Color, Alpha, pscale and width.
